Service Description
Kalki's classes support individuals through the evolving journey of their bodies. He provides tailored modifications to meet each student’s unique needs, ensuring a supportive and welcoming environment for all. Kalki Das, RYT-E Also referred to as, Ken Santistevan Kalki began his yoga practice 19 years ago and successfully completed two, 200hr Teacher Trainings, graduating both programs in 2008. Ken is dedicated to deepening his practice and knowledge of yoga in therapeutics, universal principals of alignment, Ayurveda health, and a Pancha Karma Therapist in Kerala, India. Kalki serves on the board of directors of Harmonist Sanctuary. Kalki has taught Vinyasa/Hatha and Hot Yoga for 17 years with a specialty in yoga for the aging body and Adaptive Yoga Therapeutics. In 2008 he co-created a national business, Prana ~ Corporate Yoga & Wellness with his partner Laksman Das, AyD, an Ayurvedic Practitioner and Dean of Academics at the California College of Ayurveda. Their business served corporate clients in four states, (Colorado, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Texas). Kalki was inspired by the mind, body and Spirit benefits that yoga offers through his own recovery from an accident in 2011. Yoga and Ayurveda were key in his recovery. Kalki offered yoga and meditation classes to individuals in corporate settings, rehabilitation hospital, in studios, high school football teams and to private clients. In 2012 Kalki developed and implemented the Adaptive Yoga Therapeutics programming for Craig Hospital, (Denver, Colorado) the worlds top rehabilitation hospital for Spinal Cord Injured, SCI and Traumatic Brain Injured, TBI individuals. In the last nine years Kalki taught in Lake Wildwood located in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains in Northern California. Kalki’s yoga classes served a 60+ Kula “community”. Hatha Vinyasa Yoga - A creative blend of traditional Hatha Yoga asana styles. Uniting the universal alignment with energetic movement of the body including Yoga Nidra meditation and Pranayam breathing practices. Kalki weaves Dharma into the fabric of his asana teachings, connecting the students to their relationship to their higher purpose, mind, body and Soul. What one experiences on the mat can be taken off the mat into one’s life. Yoga is for everyone, including those with limited abilities,… there are no limits.
